SUMMARY:Webinar #2 – European Cluster Collaboration Platform: Building Partnerships through Clusters
DESCRIPTION:There are over 130 clusters working in tourism and the creative and cultural industries. Clusters are powerful engines of innovation\, growth\, and collaboration across Europe. They bring together companies\, research organisations\, and public institutions within specific industries or value chains to boost competitiveness and foster technological transformation. But what exactly are clusters\, and how can SMEs and organisations benefit from them? \nThis webinar introduced participants to the concept of clusters and their role in strengthening regional and European industrial ecosystems. It explained how cluster organisations function as facilitators of cooperation\, innovation\, and internationalisation\, providing practical examples of their impact on SMEs and local economies. It further presented the heritage-focused Eurocluster “CR.EU.IN.HERITAGE” and its funding opportunities for SMEs. \nA central part of the session was dedicated to the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) — the European Commission’s hub for cluster networking. Participants learned how to use the ECCP to: \n\nConnect with over 1\,000 cluster organisations and initiatives across Europe and beyond\,\nDiscover funding and networking opportunities\,\nAccess intelligence on EU industrial ecosystems and resilience tools\, and\nPromote their own activities and success stories.\n\nThis webinar was the second session of the MetaHeritage Webinar Series: Unlocking EU Networks for Cultural Heritage\, Tourism and Digital Innovation. \nWebinar documentation \nPlease find here the slides of the event. \nWatch the recording of the webinar:

SUMMARY:Webinar #1 – Smart Specialisation and Regional Networks: Driving Growth through Collaboration
DESCRIPTION:Smart Specialisation (S3) is the EU’s place-based innovation policy designed to help regions identify and build on their unique strengths\, ensuring that investments focus on areas with the greatest potential for growth and competitiveness. By linking regional priorities with European strategic objectives\, S3 fosters cooperation across borders and accelerates the uptake of innovation. The S3 Community of Practice and its Thematic Partnerships are central to this approach\, creating powerful platforms that connect regions\, clusters\, SMEs and investment opportunities. These initiatives provide fertile ground to innovate\, collaborate\, and scale\, while aligning with EU ambitions for industrial transformation and resilience. Specialisation can also be expressed on national or interregional networks. We will exlore this based on the example of the Competence Center on Creative and Cultural Economy of the German Government. \nThis webinar\, organised by the MetaHeritage project on 6 November from 10:00 – 11:00 CET\, explored how SMEs can leverage networks to access funding\, join interregional value chains\, and contribute to future innovation roadmaps. Practical examples illustrated how businesses can leverage regional cooperation. \nFor SMEs\, the S3 approach can help: \n\nPositioning your business in regional priorities that attract EU and local funding.\nJoining cross-border value chains in your sector.\nCollaborating on joint investment projects with other EU regions.\nInfluencing future innovation roadmaps in your industry.\n\nThis webinar was the first session of the MetaHeritage Webinar Series: Unlocking EU Networks for Cultural Heritage\, Tourism and Digital Innovation. \n  \nWebinar Documentation \nPlease find here the slides of the event. \nWatch the recording of the webinar: \n\n\n\n
