SUMMARY:Webinar #2 – European Cluster Collaboration Platform: Building Partnerships through Clusters
DESCRIPTION:There are over 130 clusters working in tourism and the creative and cultural industries. Clusters are powerful engines of innovation\, growth\, and collaboration across Europe. They bring together companies\, research organisations\, and public institutions within specific industries or value chains to boost competitiveness and foster technological transformation. But what exactly are clusters\, and how can SMEs and organisations benefit from them? \nThis webinar introduced participants to the concept of clusters and their role in strengthening regional and European industrial ecosystems. It explained how cluster organisations function as facilitators of cooperation\, innovation\, and internationalisation\, providing practical examples of their impact on SMEs and local economies. It further presented the heritage-focused Eurocluster “CR.EU.IN.HERITAGE” and its funding opportunities for SMEs. \nA central part of the session was dedicated to the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) — the European Commission’s hub for cluster networking. Participants learned how to use the ECCP to: \n\nConnect with over 1\,000 cluster organisations and initiatives across Europe and beyond\,\nDiscover funding and networking opportunities\,\nAccess intelligence on EU industrial ecosystems and resilience tools\, and\nPromote their own activities and success stories.\n\nThis webinar was the second session of the MetaHeritage Webinar Series: Unlocking EU Networks for Cultural Heritage\, Tourism and Digital Innovation. \nWebinar documentation \nPlease find here the slides of the event. \nWatch the recording of the webinar:
