The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is a large support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international ambitions. It helps businesses innovate, grow on an international scale and brings together experts from member organisations that are renowned for their excellence in business support. The EEN gives individual advice and support in matters such as the transition to more sustainable business models, navigating EU legislations and policies, benefitting from the opportunities offered by the Single Market, matching companies with the right business partners, and identifying sources of finance.

This webinar introduced participants to the EEN and the different services that the network offers. It explained how SMEs can find their local contact point and get the advice they need to grow their business. We further deep dived into the sector groups of the creative and cultural industries as well as tourism and cultural heritage in order to learn about the network’s expertise and their activities and initiatives to support SMEs in these areas.

Our speakers were:

  • Christos Skouras, Policy Officer at DG GROW, European Commission
  • Céu Filipe, Chair CCI Sector Group; AEP Inovação
  • Andrea Belloni, Chair Sector Group Tourism; LAZIO INNOVA

This webinar was the third session of the MetaHeritage Webinar Series: Unlocking EU Networks for Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Digital Innovation. It is open to all interested SMEs and organisations that like to learn more about European support networks and how companies can benefit from them.
