There are over 130 clusters working in tourism and the creative and cultural industries. Clusters are powerful engines of innovation, growth, and collaboration across Europe. They bring together companies, research organisations, and public institutions within specific industries or value chains to boost competitiveness and foster technological transformation. But what exactly are clusters, and how can SMEs and organisations benefit from them?
This webinar will introduce participants to the concept of clusters and their role in strengthening regional and European industrial ecosystems. It will explain how cluster organisations function as facilitators of cooperation, innovation, and internationalisation, providing practical examples of their impact on SMEs and local economies. It will further present the heritage-focused Eurocluster “CR.EU.IN.HERITAGE” and its funding opportunities for SMEs.
A central part of the session will be dedicated to the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) — the European Commission’s hub for cluster networking. Participants will learn how to use the ECCP to:
- Connect with over 1,000 cluster organisations and initiatives across Europe and beyond,
- Discover funding and networking opportunities,
- Access intelligence on EU industrial ecosystems and resilience tools, and
- Promote their own activities and success stories.
This webinar is the second session of the MetaHeritage Webinar Series: Unlocking EU Networks for Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Digital Innovation.
Register for this webinar until 2 December.
