MetaHeritage was delighted to co-organise this year’s UHDL Workshop at CHNT 2025, bringing together practitioners and researchers working at the intersection of architecture, digital humanities, urban history, and data technologies. Chaired by Prof. Sander Münster (Consortium Partner, Digital Humanities at University of Jena), the workshop offered a holistic overview of the methodologies, technologies, and infrastructures supporting data-driven heritage research.
Across presentations, the workshop emphasised key themes central to the MetaHeritage mission: interoperability, innovation in digital tools, multiregional collaboration, and strategies for fostering sustainable heritage ecosystems across Europe.
CHNT 2025 reaffirmed the growing importance of digital heritage as a pillar for cross-sector innovation. MetaHeritage will continue to support this work through its I3 Instrument and its commitment to smart, sustainable, and interconnected heritage development.
