Tornado Studios is a creative 3D production studio specialising in cultural heritage visualisation and storytelling. Founded in 2012 in Ruse, Bulgaria, with an additional office in Barcelona, we work with museums, archaeological sites, cultural institutions, municipalities and visitor centres to bring history to life through digital technologies.

Our heritage work spans 3D scanning and digitisation of artefacts, photorealistic digital twins, architectural and historical reconstruction, educational animation and digital avatars of historical figures, interactive museum applications and VR experiences, and 3D-printed tactile exhibits designed for accessibility. Delivered projects include work in a UNESCO World Heritage context (the Rock-Hewn Churches of Ivanovo), the Troyan Street of Crafts, the Panagyurishte Goldsmith School, Heraclea Sintica and the Buzludzha Monument browser experience.

A core team of around 15 specialists scales to up to 60 artists and collaborators, working alongside historians, archaeologists and curators. Every project is approached with respect for historical accuracy and cultural significance.
